835 viper vs Zr800 with a 900 kit in it.

I will have a 835kit in my viper and I wanted to know if I can beat my freinds ZR800 with a 900 kit in it???He has the kit with pipes,reeds,studs,c kit.vs my viper with the kit in it as well as the pipes,reeds,studs,c kit.who will have more top end and who will win in a race?

You should have the advantage. A/C900 makes about 150 hp, with pipes ~165. Viper835 175hp. Thats a 10hp advantage.

It would be unfair to say who will win one way or another! As it all depends on clutching and conditions, temp etc!!

On paper you should have him but only a race will tell!

Your buddy is making a big mistake going to twin pipes and you will win.

If the sleds are that close in power it all comes down to dialing the sled in. If either one of you are not clutch or jetted correctly the other will have the advantage. Time and a lot of clutch, gear and jet testing will tell the story. Odds are I would guess you will have more top end and he should pull harder out of the hole. But as stated above the Zr would be better off with a single pipe, the twins are a lot more finicky.
