8DN on a Phazer?

This is a stupid question. I am wondering if anyone knows if a 8DN belt would work on a 07' - 12' Phazer in an emergency?

I was hoping to ride my, new to me, 09' Phazer at the TY ride this weekend in Munising but I dont have a spare belt. I ordered one a week and a half ago and it is not going to be here till after I am heading to the UP.

My sled and belt only has 200 miles on it but that is no guarantee that it will last the weekend. I have spare 8DN out the azz and was wondering if one would get me out of the woods if I blew the original belt.

It will work. I ran one on my mtx for nearly1000 miles. My dealer was not very well informed when the phazer first came out. LOL.

I used one all last year with no issues and is now my backup belt. When I asked the dealer for a belt for my Phazer that's what he gave me. I don't go to that dealer any more.

I have the reverse shim update and use the new belt now.
