Guys - I finally got around to updating our website with pics of the FX Nytro a-arm protectors. We have even received a few orders and began to ship out a few.
You might also want to see the custom 1-piece 136" billet rails we made, which can be found in the Custom Work page.
Check out the Muffin Works website!!!

Has anybody tried these? Looking at getting some a arm protectors and I'm thinking that these would be a better choice over plastic ones offer by yamaha.

I went with the OEM due to the complete coverage vs. the hole for the lower contol arm with the metal Muffin guards. I am sure that the Muffin a-arm are stonger as they are metal vs. the plastic OEM guards. The white paint will also chip off over time on my painted OEM vs. the powder coated Muffin guard. The shock covers are now off as I did not like the look and color mismatch of the blue.

I'm wondering if they will help in powder with a skid plate? Better floatation maybe... Probably not a noticable gain, but still.

I think they improve flotation. Also they help keep the snow from coming through the A- arms and hitting you.
