Hey guys, don’t want to derail any other threads, so a couple questions here:
Doing 500 mile service this weekend, noticed on my last ride, the track felt like it slightly ratcheted(just s couple thumps) under hard acceleration from a dead stop(RTX with 180 1.450” Megabites)....so when adjusting and tightening, should I stick with the recommended specs on tension? Or go slightly tighter??
Question 2: My gauge/instrument pod seems a little lose, rattles a bit, is there a way to tighten it up? Or no??
Thank you in advance for any comments!

I have to run my track tight. Like 1.5" with 22 lbs pull on LTX with 270R tune and good traction. Stocker you may get by with maybe 1.75" perhaps?
I also fully clipped to help with ratchet, allow track to spin easier with less bind and for less hyfax wear.

Be cafeful over tightening track,my adjusters are both split, when I removed skid today I found one broke off, when removing it,the other cracked and ready to break apart,so I amnow looking to see who has a couple I can get quick, they are not pricy, but they are white metal, and can not wistand a lot of pressure,so just becareful how tight you crank on them,we had to overtighten my track last year, thinking it was track rachet, but it was slip in secondary.

Slip in the Secondary? That feels like track ratcheting?? How do you know the difference??

We have sold hundreds of Cats and Yami ‘s with this axle/adjuster design and have only seen a couple of these adjusted block broken. (This was due to improper rear axle torque/tightening)
Once you have the proper track alignment and tension as long as the rear axle is tight you should be able to pretty much back of the the adjusters and have no issues.
I have ridden hard enough to bend a rear axle and still not have a issue with the adjuster block.

I have to agree,my friend who ran it last year, had just kept adjusting it saying it was loosing up all the time,i am not sure why,but yesterday when I took skid out to work on part of it,i saw this, and now I need two.We have sold hundreds of Cats and Yami ‘s with this axle/adjuster design and have only seen a couple of these adjusted block broken. Yes,sometimes when a belt is one, getting ready to lose its top cog,or has chunks missing and you don't notice, and rip hard on gas, when it tries to upshift it slips so bad it can sound and feel like a track rachet, which was the case in ours, the tang in the helix was over tensioned and had slipped out of its hole, and on back shift and upshift,it would slip and make that sound.Slip in the Secondary? That feels like track ratcheting?? How do you know the difference??
