Hi All,
A customer came by the store today asking about a problem with his seat. He explained that he sees a crease in the material, running side to side, about an inch from the increase in height near the back of the sitting portion. Has anyone seen this problem? You might imagine that it looks like you pinched the fabric and just pulled up a ridge.
We hadnt seen this before.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Guess I better hit the rack, Santa is on his way.....

Snowracer,
I also have a crease problem with the material on my seat. I purchased the sled last year used and noticed this crease before purchasing it. When I asked the owner about it he said "that's where they are all doing it". I've been looking for others that are doing it but you are the first found. I decided to just live with it !! my crease runs from left to right and is about 4" from the back of the seat. BYE !!

Snowreacer - Every RX-1 I have seen has this crease at the location you describe. It might not happen to everyone thou. If you store your sled in a warmed up garage overnight it seems to disappeare. If you let it stay outside over night at cold temps the crease is still there the next day. The seat cover is not stretched enough in the forward direction on assembly leaving a little slack in the cover, thereby causing the side to side crease many of us have seen on our sleds.

I had the same problem. But when I put my sled in the heated garage everything went back tight, and the crease was pretty bad. (Later)
Same here. My crease always goes away after being in the heated garage.

Every 03 that I saw last year had it.

Mine does it too. Goes away when warmed up.
