Well, i might just be hard to please, but things i didnt like....Hand warmers of course. Didnt get warm at all and noticed everytime i made sure they were on high they were two bars lower, so turned them up and a few min. later had to turn them up again. Snow in the face in deep (8'' i live in Pa.) snow. Turned the handle bar and a huge sheet of snow got all in my helmet and goggles. Next is the seat, riding position is good but i seem like im always sliding forward. I like to ride a little back but always end up against the gas tank. Reminds me of the "seat wedge" i had on my firecat. I took that off because of the same problem but isnt as bad. Last is the windshield. I have an ER with a higher windshield and doesnt do it for me. I might have to go higher.

I don't like when I'm going thru 2 ft of powder that my gauges get all covered with snow and I can't read them! I'm also not crazy about how responsive the throttle is, sometimes coming out of a turn it hits so hard it wakes me up. Now this is my last complaint...even though I like the sound of the fourstroke when you give it more throttle it gets louder and almost sounds like a top fuel dragster...I really hate that!

PS: another thing is the brakes, when you grab a handfull of brake lever and hold it the sled comes to a quick stop!!

I'm gonna be the weird one on this post and say I love my new sled. It's very responsive, the suspension is awesome and it handles well. Seems to me some of you are splitting hairs on this. Did you expect a perfect sled? If you know of one let me know so I can buy it!

I have had a chance to put 50 miles of trailing riding on my Attak and there are some minor issues that I will post. First, I agree with TT670, if he was serious, I had trouble with finding the Hi/Low beam button when we were riding at night. The stock carbides are worthless, we all knew that. Inside of the attak windshield iced up from heat rising from engine bay, it was 15 degrees out.

Besides those MINOR complaints I am very happy with the machine. My two biggest concerns with buying the attak was the weight, I didn't notice it at all, and the cornering/handling. The sled did push more than I like it to, but that was with the stock skis and carbides. I have a set of C & A skis that I will be using. Also it did POP and inside ski occasionally, this is something I will need to get used to.

Matt
