Accessories for 14 Viper

Was looking at the carbides listed, looks like we get cat skis not tuners. I'm OK with that, the demo units handled so damn nice with them , they were amazing. For the first year I'm getting a cover and a tunnel bag of some sort but that's about it, maybe some hand guards. Next year possibly studs and a different windshield if I freeze to death with the stocker which it looks like I will. Mine will remain mostly stock, they cost too damn much in the first place!!!

I'm with you, it was a lot of money up front and the way it rode on the demo I don't really think its going to need much. I ordered those exact items you are talking about and mine came to 350 plus tax. The only other thing I'm really considering for this year is a fourth wheel kit.

The fourth wheel kit does interest me bit it will probably have to wait a year, I just got a new AR15 so my toy allowance is overdrawn for 2013 with that and a sled! That kit is mainly to help reliability correct?? My buddies pro cross had his trihub go to hell already with only 1000 miles on it so I'm guessing there is room for improvement.

That is the only reason I am going to do a fourth wheel kit. If one of your tri hub bearings goes out you are dead on the trail. At least with a fourth wheel set up you can limp it home.

I waiting till after Haydays. I'm hoping to see some of the new parts in person. Also going to check out the cat accessories that fit. I see cat offers a lot more choices for that chassis. I'll have to send my wife over there so I don't get seen at the cat tent.

I just got a call from the dealer, my cover came in today. That's a promising sign that they are at least making accessories already.

Well the Canadian Yamaha web site has finally posted the accessories for the new viper.

Anyone have any inside story of an aftermarket header/exhaust system in development... Other then a turbo I mean??
