Let's cure those summertime blues and share some action shots of our vipers. Here's one with my little cousin on my viper, my buddy with a new xf8000 wanted to show me how fast his sled was, I immediately jumped off the sled and put my cousin on cuz I needed to get a picture of this. Needless to say he didn't wanna race anymore.

Here's another good one, 8jp belt anyone? This one lasted 200 miles

What caused the belt to shred? Was your clutch misaligned?

200hp turbo lol it won't blow any other belt but man it'll sure eat up those 8jp's

Makes total sense, you try the 8DN setup on it?

Ya I put 800 pretty abusive miles on an already used 8dn belt and it never blew, it started to unthread a little bit towards the end of the season but seemed to hold up good.

I was only getting 200 miles out of an 8jp 2 yrs ago. 1 weekend I had 3 spares with me and a new one on the sled and had to cut ride short on Sunday cause I was down to the last one on the sled. After Ulmer took the boost to 13# and did his magic to the clutches and dyno tuned them I rode 800 more miles at now 252 hp on that 8jp and only took it off and went to the 8dn because at the Minocqua drags the first run it felt like it was slipping at the top end. Atfer cleaning the clutches that weekend and running another 1500 miles on the 8 DN there is no dust in the clutch compartment.

Re-built it for a buddy and went up a day early to break it in. 2 am was flying down a trail and the swamp was not frozen. hit it at about 60 and the sled jst dropped out from under me. Had to walk out about 9 miles got to the shack at 6 am and went back with 2 come alongs to get it out. Luckily the trail head was about 300 yards from there and drove in with truck and trailer to get it.
