The cost is about the same to go either way. I was wondering what some of your thoughts are. either way, pro's, con's, preferences, ect.

Ever ride a turbo? All it takes is one ride on one and that will make your decision. I would go w/ the turbo!!

Never rode a turbo sled. I have owned a number of turbo bikes (GPZ 750, seca 650, honda cbx). Like the idea of 2 boost settings.

I've been in sleds for 30+ years and have always been cautious about add on mods.
I've seen the claims and most are crap and cause more problems then they're worth.
Not with the turbos. I have the Bender stage II and installed it myself. If you have a little knowledge and common sense you can too.
If you have someone else do it then your asking for issues. You need to get intimate with it like a fine lady! You need to be able to work on the turbo and clutching for your riding application and conditions. Not a lot of maintainence, just knowledge of how things work. Like any other sled. If you like tinkering then you'll love it.
The power is "un -f'n - believable!! No stock, or even close to stock, will touch it. Believe it!! The only thing that might get close is a 1400 Hooper.
No MACH -Z , no F7, No T-cat.
Once you ride it you're hooked.
Best thing I ever did.
Again, it all depends on what you're doing with it.
I set mine so I can ride trials or kick major butt on the lake . And it does just that!

Even if you don't get a turbo, I'd ride the sled a bit more, your depreciation is a big hit on the first year.
Get a cpr turbo!

i was torn between a new Apex Mtn or a turbo/supercharger for my sled. im getting the turbo or blower. the new engine is only 150hp.... the turbo is 200+ hp. the apex will still lose plenty of races. the turbo'd sled wont lose many, if any.

Brands, front rear? What to choose? We do mostly aggressive trail riding in the UP. Average about 200 miles in a run.
if all you want to do is trail ride buy a new sled. If you like tinkering and don't mind paying close attention to your turbo then get a turbo.

I have an 03 with about every mod you can do including a CPR turbo. The sled is insane and very fun to ride. That said, I rode the new 06s yesterday and they for me are going to be hard to pass up. They are just fantastic...BBY

Don't mind tinkering, have a 68 Chevelle that is a complete rsto. But don't want to spend a ton of time tinkering either. being a mechanical engineer, I am acussed of tinkering too much
