Hi guys!
Yesterday I got my Grimmspeed manual boost controller and it looks awesome.
I really look forward to trying this out.
However, I did ask Erik Marklund what his thoughts were and he said that he couldnt see any benefits of installing a manual boost controller cause the TCV should do the job for you and he recommended to have the MCX box reprogrammed if I felt that it didnt increase the boost enough as the altidude increases.
At about 1000m I was running a tad under 5 PSI which is too little.
I bet my sealevel pressure (base-pressure) is too low and that the TCV/MCX box doesnt adjust the pressure enough when the altitude increases.
Well here we go again Kimoaj you stupid asshole, this is why you want to install the manual controller!!
But, let`s say that it is actually possible to make things right with the stock setup, that would be great.
But I guess it will never work that good, huh?
If I adjust the boost pressure on the wastegate rod, wount the MCX/TCV adjust it down to the same amount as before adjusting it?
Or will it not?
Should I just install the Grimmspeed and stop going back and forth on this subject?
hehe
