I've run Hiperfax on my last 4 sleds. I'v never had to replace them on any sled I put them on. In fact, I've gotten over 5000 miles on them and they have had lots of life left in them.
They are slippery and wear like iron. I put them on my Attak along with the wear pads from SLP in the closed windows. I've only got 500 miles on them but they show no wear. I wore out the OEMs in 900 miles last year. The melt point is twice as high as OEM and they will take a lot more abuse in low snow conditions.

I run fully clipped track and also installed a front wheel kit and mid wheel kit by FIXpowersports.....no wear whatsoever anymore.

ice scracthers and or liquid drip of dishwasher detergent might help. No hyfax in the world will hold up to bare ice runnng.

Thanks "Studdog" I cut those out of a peice of 2" x 4" x 3/16" Aluminum
I wanted a set-up that didn't put stress on the actual running board, by doing it this way its much stronger and self contained, I also wanted them as far front as possible to get as much ice/snow spray in the suspension, it actually works VERY well...
