2016 yamaha rs venture
Hey guys new member here, I own 2016 rs venture (first time snowmobile owner) , bought it as brand new "old stock" 2 season ago.. I mainly use this for ice fishing so the mileage still low, which 254km..this is the 3 season Im using this and still haven't met the break-in Oil change interval.. do i wait? to hit 500km or doesn't really matter

x2 change it. better to change it annually to keep moisture out of the engine.

X3 change it yearly plus I’d still grease all fittings once a year as well. It is not too hard or expensive.

x4 change it, your going to need a special wrench to get into that tight area. it's easy but be sure the old o ring gasket comes out too..I had a hell of a mess not to mention trying to figure out what went wrong with all that oil spilling out...yes I'm new to this myself. got a question for you as I have a 2016 rs venture tf 151 track, the question is do you have a howl/resonance between 31-38 mph? If so, what has been your solution to this if any? Joe

yes they call that the track drone around here. Solutions include ear plus ear buds and ride faster lol. kidding but not.

the plan is to get either Bose or Sony noise cancelling ear buds, hopefully that quiets the track drone. I find it amusing that Yamaha uses tuning forks for its logo...you'd think they'd live up to what they advertise as far as harmonic resonance.
