I bought a skinz bumper and it's a lot larger then the stock one. I have a Yamaha cover and I'm a little worried the front of it might not fit anymore. It will be a while before I can try it, can anyone ease my mind on this?
Call up the guys at Skinz. They probably know and are really great people to deal with!

Would like to hear the answer. I am considering buying the Skinz bumper also.

In looking at the design, I would be surprised if the front cover did not fit. 1: the mounting points look identical, 2: it would be one of the dumbest things I've heard of if they designed a sport bumper that didn't allow you to maintain the original body panels, made only worse by the fact that the mounts appear to be the same.

It is not the body panels I am worried about, rather it is the Yamaha Canvas Covers that I (and revster) think may not fit.
Revster correct me if I am wrong but that is what I get from your post.

Yeah it does use the stock mounts and it does not interfere with the plastic at all. But it sticks out a bit more then the stock bumper and is wider. So I'm just worried about the stock canvas cover fitting over it...as macpat stated.
My sled is a part so it will be a while before I can try it.

I am looking for a new stock bumper if any of you guys want to get rid of yours. Mine has seen a few too many tree's and the stockers are only a pound so I dont think I can build one much lighter.

I did just pick up some mothers billet for the tunnel, maybe it will work on the bumper too.

I think if you get enough shine going no one will notice the slight bend.
