yesterday i finally got to see the 06's in person, excellent. i ordered the rtx. anyway i talked to my dealership and the rep from yamaha since the 06's were at the dealership and the rep said that there is a strong possibility of a turbo coming out in the accessory catolog and said it will be at a very resonable price without effecting warranty. anyone else heard of this?

I haven't heard that specifically, but from what I have heard it wouldn't surprise me.
It would surprise the hell out of me. The reps I talked to said they were happy where they are at with the HP and they will leave the turbo/s-charger to the after market. I will be shocked if they offer it. ===SRXSRULE===

I think Yamaha is very happy letting companies like Bender deal with all the problems and they don't have warantee issues......But they get the benifit of 300hp sleds out there showing their stuff

It would be no different than when they offered the GYT-R kit pipes for the SX 600's and 700's or way back in the Vmax 600 (pogo stick style) days of having GYT-R pipes for them as well.

Does anyone know when the updated 2006 Accessories catalog is comeing out. There is nothing in the current one for the Apex.

fourndog - my dealer gave me one when I ordered an apex. There is really not much new in it and actually the 05 book offers more stuff. I don't think Yamaha has designed all the accessories yet - like windshield, colored add ons. It is 90% clothing.
