Has anyone found out what they are doing for the mountain sleds with some kind of air box mod?

Yes, cold air intake, which is what I was trying to think of. Why not just have it on from the get go? Makes me wonder if this was on the preproduction sleds to get the speeds they claim and also if on the sled DynoTech tested. More than likely a noise deal. What do you all think? One more thing, will this be an accessory?I believe I read where theres a cold air intake kit I suppose for more air in..might pick up a couple h.p. and maybe with some more turbo sound ambiance!

I doubt it would make any more power static I.e. A dyno....would need to be at speed if like I'm thinking it's a ram air setup...and judging from all the videos running around...id bet it's been a closed up air system ...and yes sound wise..you should hear the turbo more...which to Yamaha is probably a negative but a positive to most of us...
I have to say coming off the turbo cat with a full 3" exhaust and a child air intake..hearing the exhaust and intake...can get old....but then again the suzuki is a crappy sounding mill...the yam is a musical instrument...yet the quiet "whoosh" of the sw is attractive to me...at least initially...

I'm looking forward to a quiet ride. The buzz on a long day on the Suzuki with full exhaust gets old but the extra power was worth it most of the time.
