hey i got a 2007 kodiak and the air box is warped anyone ever have it happen before? and whats better a K&N or a uni filter for real bad dust? not sure but i think thats why i had to replace my rings to much dust or too much heat.

most likely dust. i would say a uni oiled filter.
you can get a pre filter like the uni to go over a k+n.
air box probably warped from heat but that means that bike got pretty hot to do that.

I have the same issue with my air box and think it is a design problem. It needs a clamp at the front and back to seal properly. I use duct tape around the lip and it helps. I have the K&N filter and like it but think any upgrade in this area would help.
