Looking at the 10 vectors. Short & long track. Seems there is alot of talk about the long tracks. Well how many of you are riding the standard 121 vectors and why did you choose it over the long track?

I ride a 05 121".... I choose it so it would fit in my trailer and my shed.......... I've ridden the 136"... I really couldn't tell the difference... They seem to handle nice.. MM.

I traded my 2005 RS Rage 136" for the 2010 Vector GT 121". I live in Massachusetts where the trails are tight and found the 136 to respond slower to the tight trails compared to my 121" Viper. It was also difficult to steer the sled by sliding the rear end. Although I only have 51 miles on the 2010, it seems quicker and easier to turn in the twisties and I think will be a more exciting ride for me. With that being said, the bridging capabilities of the 136" did seem to provide a smoother ride in the bumps and worked especially well when crossing brooks. A lot of what I'm experiencing may be the differences between the 2005 and 2010 with the stronger motor, better seating, and more precise steering of the 2010 rather than 121 vs 136" tracks. So far, the 2010 Vector GT is by far the most fun sled I've ever owned.
