Since I'm a newbie, this may have been discussed in the past.
Is there any reason not to use a Fram 6017A oil filter, instead of the OEM Yamaha? The Fram catalogue spec's it for the R 1 bike; and Empart on-line parts lists show that the R 1 and RX-1 both use the same filter (5GH-13440-00-00). Any thoughts?
