Guys, for those who have paid, your money was sent into Boss last Monday. They told me then, that seats would ship late last week. I got a few PMs asking if Boss had shiped anything yet. I have a call into them, but have not heard back. I will call again first thing tomorrow morning to find out where they are. Thanks for your patience...BBY

Ok Guys, Boss just called back. 4:30 central. All the seats are done, but they are waiting on the material that lines the bottom of the seat, this material deflects heat. They are not sure when Its getting in. Keep your fingers crossed they said within a week. If you would like more details, feel free to call Boss. Thanks for the patience, theres nothing I can do to get them to you any faster...BBY

Had a chance to test this seat. Excellent for mountain riding applications only, saves alot of weight and looks "cool". Only downside, it is a very stiff seat, beat my a$$ up anytime I had to sit down and fit is so-so.

RX-1 Boss seat - 6lbs
05 RX-1 seat - 15lbs

I can't wait to see if the seat will be stiff enough.... I am a spring chicken after all. BTW who rides a sled sitting down? :D

BBY, Does Boss offer a variety of seat density? You may want to make sure to request those Boss seats with the softest available foam density for the guys buying these to trail ride and stick with the stiffer seats for the guys buying for Mountain RX-1's.

BBY,
I tried to call and leave my rider weight but got no response. What is the "standard" density they build at? Did you get the message to ship it to your shop instead of my house??

Brent
