First let me say I received very quick service from Port Yammie on this. Ordered monday and received yesterday.
Several questions:
1 Are the 2 large rubber grommets meant to be used as protection for the tubes going through the chassis?
2 What hoses are used to connect this into the system. Do I use exsisting hoses as is, cut them, or need some other hoses. I didn't receive anything.
3 Whats the rivet size used to install?
I didn't get any instruction or install hardware. Any tips will be appreciated.
Thanks, RD

1. The rubber grommets are for shipping protection I believe.
2. Should use the same hoses.
3. 3/16ths by 1/2" should work

RD,
I installed my own 121" rear heat exchanger last year. I can confirm what Fullback said above.
1. The two rubber grommets are for shipping protection only and are not used in the installation.
2. The original hoses that connect to the stock cross over tube are utilized.
3. I thought that mine came with rivits & instructions. In any case, 3/16" x 1/2" rivits should be fine and RockerDan has a good post with pictures of the install.
PM me if you need more help.

One thing to note: Don't be using cheap aluminum pop rivets -- they don't hold things very well, particularly when subject to bumps and vibrations. Use good stainless steel rivets.

SS bolt and nylock nut are a good alternative to using a rivit. If I recall correctly the center attachment for the cooler I used a SS bolt and on the outside alum rivit.
