So after my terrible weekend of riding I began to look over the sled to see if I had any other problems. After replacing the limiter straps at the beginning of this season, one is already sliced almost all the way through (only about 100 miles out of it). One thing I noticed is after the sled sits for a couple days the limiter straps are pulled tight, but riding this past weekend I noticed the front of the skid seems to sit fully compressed causing the excess length of the straps to rub on the track windows, likely causing this issue. How do I keep the front of the skid from staying compressed like that while riding? Hygear washers?

Hygear torsion spring spacer will help. also tightening your front straps, I ride mostly trail but mine are full tight with the transfer set on minimum and it has really helped the trail manners, my straps have almost 3k miles on them.
