I noticed last weekend that my GYTR skid shock was leaking red oil from the clicker which leads me to believe the shock is blown (skid will not rebound at all and I'm tearing limiter straps left and right). I now have a few options and am hoping for some feedback from my fellow TY'ers.
Rider Info:
215lbs Rider Weight
Aggressive to Very Aggressive Riding Style
80% Off-trail riding (Deep snow, boondocking, etc.)
*I also will be ordering the Hygear Torsion Spacers to try to fix this saggy suspension.*

I just replaced my rear shock with another gytr clicker ( updated 2011+ shock) I wish I caught this before the season started, I may have went with an exit shock. I hear really good things about them!

I've heard the same thing, I'm just not sure where to get one from and how much it would run me.

Call Zbroz and verify which shock is right for your skid as they carry exit shocks. This looks like the rear shock for your 2011, but I would call before ordering to be sure as the link says 08-09. http://www.zbrozracing.com/x1-nitro-rear-shock-08-09

Stopped up at RJ's today and had them simply recharge it to try to get through the rest of the season on it (it was only $15 so I thought why not). Service guy said that shock was at 100 pounds so they up'd it to 200. Anyone have the actual specs for this shock? The dealer couldn't even find it.

it all depends on how much money you want to spend (you get hat you pay for) and how much time you spend on set up and adjusting what you get. there are more than a few options available depending on which model nytro you have as they vary a bit with different models. it pays to do some lengthy research and see what is actually best for the kind od riding you actually do.
cheers and good luck
