OK I got the drive axle out and getting ready to install the anti rachet drivers. Do you just push off the other drivers? You only need to use the 2 drivers now right? Do I need to re-use the locking collar that is behind the bearing on the clutch side? Also I plan on cutting the windows out on my stock ripsaw track is this OK? I plan on using a hot window knife to cut them out. Thanks for any and all suggestions/tips!

Just use a carpenters knife for the windows with a sharp blade, and you will have to keep changing them while you go through the entire track. just take your time making nice clean cuts, and it works perfectly, super clean, just follow the edges, its foolproof.

Im interested in how your extroverts go, might do that next year, I hate ratcheting!!

heres a much faster way. go to your hardware shop and buy 2 wood chisels. one for the long side of the hole and the other for the short side. grab a hammer and put a peice of wood under the track and start pounding away. Measure the windows first to see what size chisels you need. did mine in 1/2 an hour.

where where you guys last year....good idea fly..
although I did mine on the machine

I did mine with a carpenters knife and some spray silicone. Kept lubing the knife. Came out real good. Took an hour or so. I fully clipped mine and went with Ski-Doo extro's.
You don't need to run the outer stock drivers, just the 2 new extros, besides, once the extro's are positioned on the axle, there is no room for any other drivers. You will need access to a shop press or have a shop do it for you. Before you take out the skid, measure on your axle where the center of the windows of the track lie in reference to the axle and use those reference measurements to center the new drivers. I can't remember what mine came out to, but if you need me to, I will go out to the sled tonight and measure them. I had a local shop do the pressing, and had to take them back twice in order to get it right. SHould be worht the effort.

Cuts as clean as most other methods, The wood chisel idea is going to be the cleanest cut as long as you have the time.

Yeah you basically need a press to get the drivers done right. Measurement is key to make sure they don't bind in the holes. I run whal drivers with a turbo and a loose track no racheting. I do run a fully clipped track though not a cut stock one.
