Any agreement on the best belt for the MTX yet?

Just want to know if any agreeable consensus out there for what belt to run on the MTX? I have an '08 and running fine on the stock one. My '03 RX1 puked a belt , 8DN (actually I burned it a bit getting unstuck, good spare though) so I borrowed the same spare off my MTX, same belt. But as far as buying another new spare, I am led to believe the U3 is a better belt then the 8DN stocker (my MTX came with a spare 8DN), at least for the RX1, any takers on the MTX for this as well?

I have 900 miles on the stock belt on my nytro. Thats what my spare is also, probably stick with it.

I tried a U3 on one of my turbos a couple of years ago. Didn't stand up nearly as good as the 8DN. Been using the 8DN ever since. Can't complain when they take 300hp for 1000-1500k

hartman reccomends a softer belt will slip less, cause less wear on clutches, but will not last as long as a stocker. ski

clutched right the stock yamaha is the best.
