I'm going to be installing my skid plate and studding the track. Is there any problem with doing this concerning gas and oil dripping out, or with the battery? I plan on using a blanket to protect from scratches and support the sled by the handlebars as I normally have done. If the side thing is OK, better on left or right side? The only other option I see would be to hoist the nose to do the skid plate and the tail to do the studs. Looking for your feedback.

I was told it is ok to tip it on its side as long as the oil reservoir is down (tipped on the right side as you're sitting on it).

Throttle side down is fine. Oil will leak if you put it clutch side down.
