The big solar flares a couple days back created some really impressive aurora (or as we call 'em here, "Northern Lights") displays.

Saw it here in Karasjok in northern Norway. It was truly spectacular. It's been many years since the northern lights was so clear and intense.

I would be careful to put up those pics of the Northern light.

When we were kids we were told never to wave at it, or it would get really mad. And in fact, if you wave at it - it gets mad.

Just sayin.
