My wife's FX broke its Front torque arm and then the next ride after that, the linkage piece connecting the front shock. Not sure if they are related, or if the linkage piece got overlooked the first time. No serious jumping, or harsh bottoming, just rough trail riding. We were able to ride the machine in for repairs. Had about 1600 miles at the time.

Broke that same link for the second time this weekend, then buddies sled broke same link 5 miles after mine. This link is obviously way to week. I ride this sled for a 100 miles at a time and then take it back to the dealer for a week. This sled has been in the shop for 5 weeks this season, I'm not real happy right now as you can probably tell.

Maybe you should quit living up to your avatar and instead changed it to "ride soft and nice, season is to short to have sled standing to repair at the dealer

You're probably right, I should change my avatar considering I have been riding like a pussy because I'm always afraid of it breaking. The worst part about it and I really hate to admit this is that the '04 F7 SP is still running with 2800miles, and never had a broken suspension piece. And that kills me to say that .
