Anybody have the Rear Rack for their phazer?

I was thinking about getting the rear rack from Yamaha for my 07 Phazer Mountain Lite. It doesn't have the dimensions on the website, So I can't tell if the cover will fit over it.

Does anyone have this rack on their machine, that could tell me if the cover will fit, or does anyone know the dimensions of this Rack.

I don't know if it will but I would think being only a couple inches tall it will would work.

4 5/8 tall at the rear which tapers to 3 1/2" at the front.

About 5 pounds lighter and doubles as a rack it is strong enough for me at 220 pounds to stand on the bumper and bounce up and down .

Just another question.

What about exhaust issues with this rack? I know that when I am standing behind my 08 MTX I can feel the exhaust. Would the rack impede the exhaust? Or would the heat from the exhaust damage things in the rack?

Also, what weight can we realistically put on this rack?

I can't answer your question about the weight, but You can get an exhaust elbow from yamaha that doesn't look too bad. I got one for mine, but I now notice that it is no longer listed on their website, I think that it is in the catalogue though.

This elbow deflects the exhaust away from the tunnel With a gas can behind it, it doesn't even melt the snow off completely, it just ices up.
