I cut the curve off. I installed the plastic... made a mark and took the sawzall to it. I think it looks better w/o the turn.. plus it has more of a stock look. The sound is definitely better.. although I'm not sure it's gonna fly in Wisconsin. I will probably fab the stock muffler so I can swap them when I go up.

Dont worry about wisconsin sound laws. I've been checked out by WI trail smokies twice and they did not even mention the noise. Looks good.

The sound is not much louder it's just a different note. I have a video I took on my phone but it doesn't do the sound justice. It just has a throatier sound to it with a slight rasp. My only concern is the WI DNR will look under the seat and see my clamp on there and ticket for "any modification".
I posted a sound clip of that silencer somewhere on here.It ended up cracking into pieces on me but I believe that was from the open tunnel.With closed tunnel I think it should last.
