I've got no official information but I saw this posted on the Arctic Insider website from this past March:
"Production timing has changed especially since AC had to build 5000 units for Yamaha, which I believe were last in the 14 model year. My limited XF 800 and my neighbors regular XF were both built in May and were available after July 1."

Wow, only 5k units world wide makes that a pretty rare sled.

It was a few more than that from what I have heard, but not many. Arctic built less than 15,000 7000/Vipers altogether and around half were blue and red ones. Don't quote me on that but it is a figure I heard more than once. The sad thing is that only 167,000 sleds were sold globally last year, and that was up around 10% from the year before.
