I have been looking at an '08 Nytro FX. They want 7499 for a brand new one. I have an '07 Phazer and I enjoy the sled. I have been trying thinking about picking it up or getting another Phazer. Anybody want to chime in???

I just bought an '09 Phazer RTX. Still working on the break-in miles but I can tell it will be a fun sled for the North Shore. Much lighter and more responsive to rider input, but the extra 60+ HP of the Nytro is a kick in the pants that's hard to beat.
However, my Nytro is down with a bent sub-frame at the moment. That's a kick in the pants too, but in a bad way.

Well, i guess it depends on the riding you do.... we have three 4 strokes.... 07 attak, 09 xtx, and a new leftover 07 phazer fx.....
if you ride the tight and twisties, there isnt a more fun sled than the little phazer... well you know about the phaze, u already have one.... now the attak, wow gobs of power nice ride..... but the xtx, a totally different animal.... some ride characteristics of the phaze and some of the kick of the attak....
the nytro is a really good sled.... we havent yet got the wifes xtx dialed in yet, but getting close, made some more more adjustments and its time to try her out some more.... the nytro definattely has the pull for the longer staighter trails over keepting the phazer pinned, and there is no comparison in the loose or deep snow.... this in my opinion is where the phazer really shows her lack of grunt...
still a hard decision, depends on what your after... good luck.....

I picked up two used sleds this year: '08 Nytro RTX ($6750 including over $600 of extras) and a '07 Phazer FX ($4500 including Simmons Flex Skis) both with under 800 miles. Took them out on the lake and was always waiting for the wife to catch up on the Phazer. Switched sleds and she was right on my #*$&@ the whole time; she said she felt so much more stable on the Nytro. Had a hard time getting the Nytro away from her. Of course, I have made alot of mods to the Nytro (see my signature) so it now rides well. I had considered the Phazer for myself but there is no way I would get one for myself after riding both - just not enough power and stability. Obviously, you like your Phazer, my only suggestion is to get to a dealer and test drive the Nytro before deciding.
