Anybody Stretch An 2011 Apex SE To 144 Ice Ripper Or Other Track?
Just wondering if this has been done & how did the sled handle after the strech?

Re: Anybody Stretch An 2011 Apex SE To 144 Ice Ripper Or Oth
I got a 2008 Apex LTX GT and stretched it to 144 with a custom made tipped up rail skid and an Ice Attack track, sled feels and handles the same as before only now i got better hook up and no slip on ice with that track. Just one glitch....having trouble with the slides heating up, got a couple theories going on but will have to do some more testing. Low snow conditions here in west of MTL.
Sled looks dreamy, tunnel extension, tunnel supports and handle bars risers from Muffin Works all good products and nice people to do business with. Whal bros sprockets and clutching from Ulmer another group real pleasant to work with.

Sweet but custom made? No standard aftermarket 144 track kits for 2011 Apex SE?

Apex LTX GT 2008
Yes custom made rails cause I kept the original mono shock skid but decided not to put on rail extensions because I wanted to feel and have the full effect of tipped up rails. The tip up on tipped rails (example an XTX) goes back 11 1/2 inches and a set of tipped up rail extensions is only 4 inches. Hence custom made.
Had the shock redone by Star Suspension and it has never been this good. Those guys really know what they're doing.
