Winter storm warning starts tonight - if it is anything like the last few storm warnings we'll get a whopping 3" of snow.....

Nothing here but warm temps and rain. Not much better up at the cottage where I ride either...

Sorry guys, it's my fault. As soon as mother nature heard I bought a sled she laughed and sent warm weather. :o|

Yup, knew this would happen. I got out of snowmobiling last year for various reasons including buying a new house, and sure enough had the best winter in years, now I'm back in and nothing in sight. Plus I put the Corvette in storage 2 weeks ago and can't even enjoy that! :o|

Arctic Cat asked mother nature to hold off because most of the turbo sleds wont be delivered untill the end of December.... :moon:

we had close to 8" in central saskatchewan a couple weeks ago but down to maybe 3 ". Not enough to even take a dig in the ditch. At least we got somewhat of a hard base going

Got my first ride last friday with my brother(7skulls)on his 06 Nytro but its all gone now.Last time i got an early ride like this(2006-2007 winter)i was two months before i got back on the seat in real snow(end of jan 2007).Just spent today installing the oilite bushings in my warrior(yesterday the OFT steering blocks).Cross our fingers and hope for a snowy season.(P.S oilites/OFT steering blocks felt great in the 06 nytro, very tight with great feel and very little vibration).

We have a total of about 4mm on the ground right now up in Lloydminster.
:(

I'm really hoping it shapes up to be like last year, it was a decent snowfall all across Sask.

we rarely get to ride much before christmas around here - seems pretty normal to me. trails dont even open until saturday so even if we had snow - really can't ride - plus the swamps are still soft.

Trails in Wisconsin don't open till Dec 12th (mussel loader hunting season ends then) but it sure would be nice to get some base built up!!! At least the temps have been headed down. The lake has ice on it!!!

Most of the time in Michigan we dont get a good base because guys ride them with low snow conitions and it just blows off the trails. Early wet snows are rare after the ground freezes. The trails open Dec. 1st but not much happening here so far.
