Hey guys,
Anyone ever figure out a place to put a vortech bypass on a CPR front mount? I have one just sitting at home that I had received from Ted last year for a different application. Right now I have the plastic one that comes from powderlites I believe.

The way this setup is I can't figure out where it would fit.

Thanks
Tony

yes mike knapp put one on his sled which i have know goes underneath the cooler at the front in nose cone i believe simmons has jigs made up for them know on the intercoolers.

Opps, I should have stated that this is on a Warrior on an apex. "visegrip" - completely different cooler design.

tony try to put it in the charge tube if possible. dump it before the intercooler to keep cooler temps. i can get my wife to send pics of mine in the powder lites intercooler if it helps

I agree, it is difficult to find a mounting location on a CPR turbo Warrior. Any help would be appreciated!

Ted,
Yes this is true... I have given that some thought... If I did that I could also mount some of the HKS electronic Boost stuff there like you did on your black 04 Warrior. ;)! Does this make the clutch cover in-operable so the side cover must be removed for clutching?

BTW I'll be calling you soon on a electronic controller, not going to go through another year with the manual type..

thanks

I believe that hood interference will be an issue with the Vortech Bypass in the charge tube location.

I'll tape it on there & see if it will fit. I'm pretty sure the clutch cover won't come off unless it is maybe modified somehow..

Finally got my Vortech Bypass mounted on the CPR charge tube. I will have to loosen the clamps and rotate it up to remove the belt cover though. With my mounting location I can't carry a spare belt in the holder. Guess I will have to lay it in the bottom below the clutches.
