I have a APEX LTX '08 its not leaking but does it ever get hot when riding it hard and high speeds, I mean HOT you can barely touch it with your hands...anybody else experience this I know my '05 did get hot not as much as my '08.

I read on different occasion on the site that the MAGNESIUM cover ran hotter, but that MUCH!

get rid of the stock gear oil and go with synthetic

I've treid every OIL you can think of and no difference...it just runs very HOT!

1 oil that I'm using right now is SWEPCO 212 with moly additive and it seems to run much cooler but at sustained high speeds it still get hot...
