Anyone have real-world data on adding additional wheels to their 137" skid?

Wondering if anyone has done what I call real-world testing (same day, same sled speed in fixed distance) on adding more wheels to their 137" skid? Does it help (slide-rail friction is decreased more than drag from the additional wheels) or does it hurt (friction from turning more wheels is greater than loss of friction to slide rails)?

I'd have to think the answer to that is solely dependant upon snow conditions.

The fast radar run guys run extra wheels...
Are they doing allot of runs on glare ice?
Question in my mind is if indeed they add speed, would they be faster in all conditions, glare ice, hard pack, loose, etc? I'm not at all concerned about slide wear.

I remember talking with a guy over on HCS when the viper came out in 14. He claimed big gains in speed by adding nothing but 2 sets of extra wheels. This was at the advice of D&D.

133.2 at nbssr in the pump gas class. you can grab the bumper on tom's or my sled and move them around fairly easy.
if you look over my left shoulder you'll see tom in the red coat.
