Was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Skinz A-Arm concept arms. Watched the video last night and if sound interesting. Wondered if anyone has seat time with them yet, and if they improve the handling enough to justify the price? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Dan

Thanks for the reply Dimebag, Which shocks are you using with them? The whole set-up just sounds so pricey.

I have been using fox floats with the skinz front end the last two seasons. This year I'm installing new Elka shocks, which hopefully will make the ride even better.

Im actually considering a skinz front end for my xtx too.. You wont believe how big of a difference it makes.

is this on a trail sled or mountain sled dimebag ? how are the steering rods holding up with the bend in the middle of them ?

I agree with dimebag with how much it changes the sleds handling. I'm a trail rider and have the 42" w swaybar hooked up, greatly improved the handling of the sled. Flatter through the moguled out corners and the twitchyness is pretty much gone. Very happy with mine. Also you get rid of the crappy stock balljoints with heim joints and adjustable camber. I used my 08 floats last year with a revavle which worked pretty well, have a full set of exits this year. As far as durability on the tie rods, I don't see a problem unless you wreak the sled. I've pounded on mine pretty hard

Have you tried finding a used setup? Not many out there but I've seen some.

I'd be curious how much this setup would help the Nytro compare to the Viper's chassis. Does the Skinz help lighten the steering at all?

Good Questions, hope the guys that have them, keep up the comments, it's very useful!

the one thing i wish i had the money to do to my sled. heard great things about these arms

Yes steering is pretty light from stretching out the stance getting the skis farther away frm the weight of the motor.

I opted going with the zBros 43+1" witha 128" relocation kit on the rear. what a world of difference. I bet going with the skinz or the new zbros stance would make it even flatter. I wanted to try this because I didn't have to change or modify shocks

I'm interested in a set for my 2008 RTX but it sounds like I'd likely have to get new shocks too so I'd be in it about 2 grand! (for a 5 year old sled)

I had them on my 09 Nytro XTX , they were one of the best upgrades I ever did. I could ride the sled faster with more confidence and less fear of the thing high siding on me. In response to the question of how it compares to a viper. I did a demo on a viper and ordered one. The nytro was a great sled don't get me wrong, but to me the viper was a better choice. I think all along I purchased the wrong Nytro I should have got a rtx, did the star relocation kit and skinz front end. I think had I done that I would still have a Nytro .
