Thought my luck maybe changing but thinking twice now..lol....yesterday I went to move the bike so choked it and it started....then went to go in reverse and it stalled....then I could not get it going again.....this happened a couple years ago and the dealer said that it was the needle and seat....if I remember correctly they said the needle was shoved way up or something like that.....it is not the plug, it is getting gas so thinking same problem as before...anyone have this issue?..THANKS DICEMAN

hmm... on mine i have to leave the choke on for almost 1/2hr on inital start-up untill it gets warm. maybe it is like mine in that it might need a larger pilot jet.

got home and decided to be a mechanic..lol....took side cover off so I could see the carb and gently tapped it......tried to start it and it started up right away.....ran and started like a top...ya think the needle was stuck??.....I have it booked in for Monday to get looked at but thinking and hoping it was just a fluke....Diceman

yup, that means the needle is sticking in the carb on its seat. a good cleaning will take care of that.
