I need a quick favour from someone with OHLINS front shocks on an Apex.....I had my shocks re-built and lost the shock settings. I have never rode the sled yet so I don't even know where to start but I do know that the spring was quite a ways down from the top, just not sure how much.

The Ohlins are quite a bit different from the GYTR's so I'm hoping to get the spring measurement from the TOP of the threads to the TOP of the spring as a general starting point. Feel free to PM me.

Much appreciated....

Either way, you would want to lift the sled up (skis off the ground) loosen the spring tensioner until the spring rattles. Tighten the spring up until the rattling stops. Repeat for the other side. Set comp. at minimum, set rebound at min. Adjust from there. If it bottoms, increase comp. if it pogo's back at you, increase rebound. This is assuming of course you have both comp, and rebound adjustability. The main thing is getting springs down. If you blow through the shocks stroke even with the comp. all the way up. You will need to increase preload (tighten spring) a bit.

Thanks....found what I was looking for.....

Hey, never actually read one but an owners manual is a useful thing.. ;)!
