I believe scooby has.

The MACH Z is going to be really strong no matter what the RX-1 clutch set up is. The RX-1 needs more HP.
I have ridden the thing and it moves.
As soon as we get back out on the ice I'll report the actuals.

Got to race one last week....all I can say is WOW!! We definately have our work cut out for us!! I have a 136 Ripsaw that hooks up exceptionally, my buddy has a sno pro F7, we both run about the same, neck and neck every race. We raced in a potato field, packed snow but still fairly loose, the Mach absolutely smoked us off the line(even with his 1" track), got probably a good 8 sleds on us, and never looked back!! He didn't seem to pull away much more after we got going but there was no way in H##L that we could catch him! Same outcome every race! There was also an 800HO running, we were right next to each other(I think he had some mods) and also a new Pro XR 800(nowhere to be seen!) My sled runs well but I just couldn't keep up...oh well, its gonna take a turbo to do it!!

so will the Summit X with the 162" also be a tough race for us? its a 40" longer track than the mach Z so i figure it loses a little more power. I know it would take my sled, but by how much? A friend of mine has one and were going riding saturday. He doesnt race much, but he likes speed.
ill remind him that he spent 11,500 on his sled and i spent a measly 9500

my buddy had about 200 miles on his machz and raced our buddies 800xc with slp single pipe setup, with the lighter guy on the xc800 it would pull the machz on top but mid range the machz would jump 6-8 sled lenghts in no time strong strong midrange but seemed to run out on top

I believe Scooby has a Turbo, so I assume he kicked #*$&@.
Turbo? Yes
and it kick butt.
The Z is hard to beat with any non turbo when it is up and running. They are strong runners.

we raced a mack z yesterday with a warrior and the warrior was a sledlengt in front for about 400-500 feet(200meters) then the z came and would pull away with 2 sledlengts and there he stays. mods done too the rx is ecp, hauck exhaust system, and wery good cluschset upp. 89a10, with a straiht 53 helix stock spring secondary and red dalton in the primery. not impressed by the z

I raced a well clutched and broke in Mach two weeks ago and absolutely got crushed, smoked, beaten down, etc. These Machs fly. I was on my 03 with 1.25 camo, 144 studs, ECP w/EVAC, and stage II clutch. I know I am pretty quick since there was an 03 800 XCR, racing with us. I was neck and neck with the XCR and the Mach was 10+ sledlenghs ahead after 1/3 mile. If the Mach is clutched you will get your butt handed to you unless you have a Turbo.

I would be very surprised if the summit beats yours, with the enourmous size of that rear end it will lose more than just a little bit of top end. I saw one at the dealership and couldn't beleive the size, you might aswell throw on a damn couch! Dealer told me that it would top out at around 104-106mph depending on conditions, IMO you would be lucky to see that. It will be interesting to see how long these engines keep together, that's alot of power out of a twin.
