Can anyone who has tried the C&A skis tell me what they personal experieced using these skis. I am thinking of maybe going to them just want to do a little research before I dish out the coin. I am leaninig toward the outlaw series, but feedback on any series you tried is appreciated. Thanks

I run the XT'S. they give superb flotation for my Attak and now I have them on the front of my RX1.
At 7.25" wide they give great control in the pow and even better handling on the trail.

For trail riding, great grip in loose snow in the curves

The DOWN side. Steering effort is increased at slow speeds

I run the outlaws and love them. They improve the handling in all snow conditions. Little to no increase in steering effort. I have them shimmed a little and they do not dart at all. The only real negative is that the carbide is different than all other C&A's. The carbides do not tuck into the ski at all so I am worried crossing railroad tracks, also backing off my trailer they tend to catch a bit but never caused any problems. No problems yet after 4000 miles. Any other questions let me know. Here are some pictures of them new. The big keel is wearing pretty good after 4000 miles.

Also here is a crappy shot of the razors. I do not have any experience with the razors on the apex.

Bottom line is that C&A's work that is why almost all snowcross racers use them. Also if you check all the different forums you can generally find a used set in great shape for an awesome price.

have them on both my attak and viper. i feel the same as sobfrogg. exactly what i think of them, but they do bite a bit too much at slow speeds.

I have the XT’s as well that I sometimes use. One thing your guaranteed to do is turn.

Very constructive.

Back on topic...
I have the skinny C&A skis on my sled. I love them. Not sure on how well they help in deep snow? I just give'er more gas!
They steer much better than the stockers. I will have to pay attention to the slow speed steering, like others have commented.
I feel that at high trail speeds, I am in more control than I was with the stock skis shimmed!!!

My friend and I both have the CA Pros on a 03 and 05 RX1. They did stop the darting and float great but they turn very hard. Almost impossible at slow speeds.
