last yr i ran 127.6 in 2800' with trail studs, polar clutch, slp pre filter(home made) airbox, limiter strap looped together, 8" billet wheel kit, front end slammed, top 24 tooth and 1" track. oh course, a heavy right thumb, lol. i bought my sled brand new and the within the first 400km i saw 119.1mph on the radar without changing anything.
the ice in the spring is slippery and i think i can get 130+ but for now i'm happy with a consistant 126-127. i've changed a couple of things this yr. i've changed out my drivers and put in 10 tooth, 3/4 inch track, ice studs and a lube system. the top tooth doesn't matter, i've had 22, 23, 24 and 25 all of them have run consistant #'s. if you have a stock 9 tooth driver and 24 top tooth, it'd be the same as a 10 tooth driver and 22 top tooth. i've tried stock clutch and polar clutch, no difference because i've got the polar clutch set up to run 10,400rpm.
my sled runs exceptionally well, so i don't run any kind of programmer. i run the stock clutch and it pulls 10,500 so i know i'm losing a little bit of power because it should be around 10,800, but i'm happy with the #'s i get.
the best power adder you could buy for the money is the pre-filter, $50. make sure when you're running you get out of the wind. i can give my sled to people and they'll run 3-5mph slower then me or some of my other buddies. weight doesn't matter, i'm 215lbs and i can put my cousin on my sled he's 245lbs and he runs 1-2mph faster then me.
that's all the stuff i've ever done to make the sled faster for now .

the guns bang on, we have three guns and gps. we've had this discussion last yr because people don't believe how fast the sled is unless theirs are fast. we've watched all kinds of guys say, "my sled runs 120mph all day" and then get 108 on the gun, lol.
