Apex and Avgas

Hello everyone,is it ok to run 100LL Avgas in my Apex? thanks

Wont hurt it, but it will run better and make more power on the minimum required octane.

Why the hell would you pay more than $4 a gallon for aviation gas. Why does everyone think that the people that engineered this sled didn't make it the best they could already. Everyone wants to add this that and the other and I don't know of anyone that has done anything, other than a super charger or turbo. to make them significantly faster. Leave well enough alone. Your spending good money after bad.

avgas will not burn fully. This will cause carbon to buildup in the heads, tops of the pistons, and down into the rings. When the rings get gummed up, you will loose compression, which will result in high crankcase pressure, and oil blowing out at every place it can find.

Waste of money pluse aviation fuel does not have the same lubricating properties as pump fuel.
