I am looking for info on what all is involved in swapping an Apex engine into a Nytro. ie:modifications needed done to Nytro chassis, any aftermarket kits/parts, rough idea on costs not including the engine, and any tips or help that could point me to any sites about the swap. I have located a wrecked Apex that I can purchase from an individual at what I think is a reasonable cost and since I blew up my Nytro's engine last weekend I'm considering buying the Apex for the engine and installing it in the Nytro rather than repairing/replacing the Nytro engine. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

If you google nypex there's a fair bit of info out there. I've seen them on tv but have never been close to one to see what all is involved. Never really looked into it much so I can't offer much else for advice other then it's lots of work.

I am contemplating either doing this swap or to turbo mine. Supercharger blew up so need to decide which route to take

Have you guys considered stroking your existing 1050 tripple? The apex motor is cool but requires a bunch of fabrication and you'll still be at 150 ish hp....a stroked Nytro will make in the 175 hp range

Anyone on here running just a stroked nytro? Is a programmer recommended for this set up
