anyone have a manual for this 06' ER so they can tell me how to adjust the reverse shifter linkage. i tried the method that someone gave me for the rx1 but it doesnt seem to be right and now its really messed up. thanks

I'll try to explain what the manual says without the pictures.
First put shift lever in forward.
Then adjust the top adjustment (horizontal one) so that it measures 27mm (1.06") between the insides of the lock nuts. Tighten lock nuts and recheck measurement.
Lastly adjust the bottom (vertical) adjustment by making it longer to take out all slack , then turn it back loose 1/4 turn and tighten lock nuts.
Should be it.

On these dimensions, you have to be dead nuts on. Also, you need to make sure you get the jamb nuts tight w/o changing the dimensions. Good luck. When you get it exactly right, they work just fine.
Also, when coming out of reverse, I have found that if you let the handle go and let it snap back in place, it never fails to fully return versus following it back into forward with your hand on it.
Sometimes you have to move the sled a bit to slacken the chain, if the chain is adjusted right to spec. I leave the chain a little loose because of this.
