Because Im a drag racer and cant ever leave anything well enough alone!

Seriously thinking of adding an aftermarket exhaust. I want something with a worth while gain (definatly dont want to lose power) with a good exhaust note.

I personally prefer the deep throaty sounds over some of the higher pitched sounds. I would like it to sound like its just a big ol beast, not some ratty tin can like the 2 smokers.....

I have been listening to sound clips on youtube and a few I like, but couldnt find anything yet on Excel and they seem to be a fav around here.

i think theres alot of post on differnt exhaust and there gains you search for them. pretty expensive i think.

Kevin,
I looked at many aftermarket exhausts before making my decision:
Excell
Bender
White Knuckle
MPI
Hauck

For me, I perfered the hauck exhaust, a little lounder than the Bender and Excell, but the sound is awsome (deep and throaty) with 3-4 hp gain

Good luck!

I have the Bender. Quieter than some aftermarket, but has a cool sound thats deeper and raspier than stock.

Call me an old geezer, but I remember the days when dual exhaust was king on vehicles. I just can't warm up to that single exhaust look.
