Hey Guys,
I have been searching the posts and no luck seeing anything with the issue im having.
Wondering if anyone has experinced this. My Sending unit for my fuel guage sometimes acts up. Basicly you fill the sled and it shows full, and then drive it for 20 miles then it shows empty. then after a while of riding of about 50 miles it will show half. and then be acurate till its empty.
but its intermittent. doesnt happen all the time, just once and awhile. been like that since I have owned the sled. I figure I have a Corrosion or dead spot in the sensor.
Wondering can it be taken apart? Cleaned? rewired? its just more of an anoyance.

Sounds like u may have a bad sending unit. It could also be a bad ground.
