apex grafics /need help !

I have 06 GT. Have did lots GO GO changes and a little LOOK changes. Have custom windshied i like/chrome hand gaurds w mirrors i like/ I aim lookin for any and ALL ideas on custom grafics for sled ! Iam ready 2 redo all sled look with your ideas ! THANKS

I have been been tossing this around too.I like the the graphics from arctic but they just arent for me.I have ben contenplating painting side panels also just dont know.I realy would like someoene to photo chop a GT with aall black seat if anyone can I would appreciate it.Also was thinking of the flames from the nytro and the 07 ER graphix are cool with the lighting always liked that look but dunno...........

what is ther for prep work when painting side panels? do you have to sand them smooth? or do just use a good cleaner and then paint them.

I am prepping my apex for paint later this week. I have sanded the side panels down to eliminate the texture. I will be using House of Kolor Jet set Black, which will require re-painintg the tank and hood as well. I have sprayed this paint many times, and when placed next to any other black, it makes the other guy's black look dull and/or grey. I'll post pics as soon as I take a few.
There are a few tricks to getting the panels right though, I wouldn't just go sanding away, but if you've done anything like this before, it will be pretty easy.
I plan on doing alot of airbrush work to the sled also, I'm just really indecisive, and cannot decide exactly what I want. I may end up with realistic flames.
I'll have some openings in my schedule starting this spring if any body wants to have their sled painted. I'll post some photos of some of my friends sleds I've painted as well.

Mine were done by a local shop. They weren't sanded, but still come out smooth. They put 5-coats on to get rid of the rough surface.

I love how your sled looks...nice job! Where did you find the graphics? Also, where did you find your shock covers as well? I have the blue Apex but I think those graphics would look good with the blue.

Lettertech Graphics made them. I got them at the snowmobile show here in Novi Michigan. They had a big variety of colors and combinations but I had the Red Yamaha stickers made special. I think it was about $10.50 per sticker because of the special run for that color, but they can make any color you like. They are out of St. Paul Minnesota 651-292-0738.
I got the shock covers from the Yamaha accessory catalog.
