apex gt front shocks

recently i purchased a set of gt clicker front shocks and installed on my apex er and i have no info to set up can any gt owners help me out on a good start point of where to set spring compression #of threads ? and where to set the comp and rebound dials there seems to be a pile of clicks in these things. or even what is factory settings ...any info would be great.

Here's from the owners manual on my apex gt. Rebound adjuster at bottom-12 clicks out standard. 20 clicks min rebound damping,3 clicks out max rebound damping.Compression adjuster at top-7 clicks out standard.12 clicks out min compression,(SOFTER),2 clicks out max(HARDER).

any idea what it says for spring preload lenght and where to measure from ??

The spring is measured from the bottom bolt to the top of the spring
Max=129mm
Std=119mm
Min=119mm
