When I was looking for my Vector, they offered to buy my 03 Viper ER, with 3k on the clock, skid plate, the cover, shock covers, for a generous price of $2600.
"It's missing a stud, so it needs a new track." Huh?
"2 of the grill inserts are missing retaining clips" $40 for new GRILLS!
"Trailing arm has a slight bend in it." It was ver slight, but I accepted that.
What killed me out of all of this, was that he took the RETAIL price of all parts (I know, I had priced them all) added in the standard shop rate ($60 per hour) to do the work, and deducted it from the normal trade number on the sled. That was just outrageous, and they knew my opinion in no uncertain terms.
Sold the sled a week later for $4500. Bought the Vecter ER from Dave in Jackman, done deal over the phone. Someone above said once you get to know Dave and the wife things go much smoother. They deal with piles of folks a day up there, and I'm sure some of them are less the congenial. Nothing but thumbs up from me, I have bought 5 sleds from him, and always came away satisfied.

Bought my Polaris 4 wheeler up there he was great I would have bought it from Larrabee in Gardiner but they didnt have any 700 left. We made a deal over the phone and I traded it in with a bad cam he took 500 (cost of getting the cam fixed) off the trade in he quoted me 2 weeks before and I went up. Awsome people to deal with I thought no BSing around. I like Woody's in Topsham I havent bought anything from them but there service was awsome I will buy my new one there.
